2013 Makeup Workshops for Everyday Women and Teens 

This series of makeup workshops focus on makeup application for everyday women and teens from the beauty basics to more glamorous eye looks with lashes. We offer makeup workshops for everyone whether a stay-at-home mom, student, recent graduate, established professional or CEO. These sessions will teach you the basics and beyond whether you want to create a polished and natural makeup look or a more amped up sexy "smoky eyed" vixen look. Current 2013 Workshops Offerings:

These are all hands-on workshops, participants need to bring their own makeup and brushes to the session to receive the full benefit of instruction. If you would like to attend but do not have makeup and tools available, please send an email for additional options and recommendations to Charlene@epiphany-beauty.com.

 Beauty Basics Makeup Workshop

Time: 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Registration begins at 12:15 p.m.)

Date: Saturday, January 5, 2013

Location: Provided upon paid registration - all workshops to be held in Metro Richmond area

This introductory session will start with the basics of a beautiful and flawless foundation application ending with a basic beauty look. Topics for this session include:

- Skin care and preparation

- Recommended tools and brushes for makeup application

- How to select the correct shade and type of foundation for your skin tone/type

- Concealing tips and tricks for problem areas

- Foundation application techniques for flawless skin

- Light highlighting and contouring  - Setting your foundation with powder

- Basic eye, cheek and lip application 

Valentine Vixen Makeup Workshop

 Kim Kardashian Makeup by Troy Jenson - Smoky Eye

Time: 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Registration begins at 12:15 p.m.)

Date: Saturday, February 9, 2013

Location: Provided upon paid registration - all workshops to be held in Metro Richmond area

                        Kim Kardashian Makeup - Clean Eye & Bold Lip

This workshop will focus on makeup techniques to create a sexy Valentine's Day makeup look as inspired by one of my favorite Celebrity Makeup Artists, Troy Jenson. Whether you want to a subtle yet sexy eye and bold lip or a smoldering smoky eye with nude lip, we have you covered in this workshop. Either look will be great for a romantic evening with your love or a fun evening celebrating with your gal pals! This session will cover:

- Skin preparation

- Recommended tools and brushes for makeup application

- How to create sexy, glowing skin (face and body)

- How to create a subtle but sexy eye makeup look with bold lips

- How to create a smoldering smoky eye makeup look with nude or natural lips

All About The Eyes Makeup Workshop

Time: 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Registration begins at 12:15 p.m.)

Date: Saturday, March 9, 2013

Location: Provided upon paid registration - all workshops to be held in Metro Richmond area

This workshop session will focus strictly on the eyes to include strip lash application! This session will cover the following topics:

- Recommended tools and brushes for eye makeup application

- Importance of brow grooming and shape

- How to define and shape brows with makeup

- Applying eye color based on your eye shape

- Applying multiple eye colors

- Using eye liner for a more defined eye

- How to apply strip lashes (optional)*

- Applying mascara

- Finish with lip color

* If you are allergic to latex, please let me know via email when you register for the session so I can recommend an alternative adhesive for consideration and approval by your physician.  

Prom Makeup Workshop

Time: 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Registration begins at 12:15 p.m.)

Date: Saturday, April 13, 2013

Location: Provided upon paid registration - all workshops to be held in Metro Richmond area

This workshop is a combination of our "Teen Beauty Basics" and "All About the Eyes" makeup workshops. Not only will participants learn skin care and flawless face basics, but we will also incorporate the use of cream shadows, pigments and glitter for fun and dynamic eye looks! This is a great workshop for teens that prefer a do-it-yourself prom or party look with bold eyes and great skin! This session will cover the following topics:

- Skin preparation

- Recommended tools and brushes for makeup application

- How to create flawless, glowing skin

- Importance of brow grooming and shape

- How to define and shape brows with makeup

- Applying cream bases and shadows

- How to apply pressed shadows or loose pigments for eyes

- How to apply shimmer and glitter to eyes

- Using liner to define the eyes

- How to apply strip lashes (optional)*

- Finish with lip gloss

* If you are allergic to latex, please let me know via email when you register for the session so I can recommend an alternative adhesive for consideration and approval by your physician.  

It is recommended that attendees arrive at least 15 minutes early to get registration materials and set-up their makeup and tools for the workshop. Delicious refreshments are included with the registration fee for each workshop so bring your appetite!

Seats are limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. Registrations are non-refundable; if there is a cancellation, fees may be applied to another 2013 makeup workshop based on availability.
